DARK GAIA'S PROFILE
Dark Gaia

I develop games and I write. I have a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and journalism. I like writing speculative fiction, horror and literary fiction, sometimes all blended together. You can find elements of my writing in my games, because I consider my games to be stories just that happen to have gameplay.
I post updates on my Facebook and Twitter:

Thanks for the comments relating to your first impressions. I should have warned that the intro is long and drawn out. In my opinion, that was the best way to tell it (using the noteboox) because if it delved into the flashabcks it would have been even longer.
The tutorials I know were not needed, but were included because this game is actually widespread on non RM forums, and some people are just hopeless with RPGs.

What are you thinking about right now?
Hmm... Perhaps you prefer to play with something that resembles an actual gamepad rather than the computer keyboard?
Released! - Legionwood
The AP is limited to 99, yes. This is to put pressure on you as the player to spend it rather than horde it and inject yourself with a massive dose of awesomeness at the end.
What are you thinking about right now?
How it happened was I posted the game on thier forum and then they pretty much decided out of the blue they'd include it on their cover disc. I don't suppose they see a lot of RM games.
What are you thinking about right now?
Have you ever cried for someone?
If it counts, I cry for dead people and for beloved pets who die too. Apart from that, I've never felt the need to cry over someone unless they have died.
One Night - Full Version
Would you mind providing a link to the game for me, as I'm interested in seeing it for myself. I really did not think One Night had a friend.
Released! - Legionwood
That was the reasoning I had in mind. Besides, if you use the AP system well enough, you don't often need to upgrade your equipment, that's why it's so cheap. The money is to spend on supplies and techs instead.
How did you find rpgmaker.net and why did you stick around?
Back in '05 I needed a place to upload my game and make a page for it. Since then, I've learned what forums are and I stick around to be part of the community.
